raising the sum of £200,000 by loan for the purpose of defraying the cost of certain public works, together with a certificate by the Attorney General that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to the Governor's Instructions.

The commencement of the contribution to the Sinking Fund has, in accordance with the authority conveyed in Lord Knutsford's despatch No. 200 of 29th July 1892, been fixed at the expiration of three years from the date on which the interest on the loan begins to accrue; and a list of the works, which includes slaughter-house and depôts as adjuncts to the Central Market, on which the proceeds of the loan are to be expended, is specified in the schedule to the Ordinance.
