17 wishes, trusting His Excellency the Governor will under the circumstance, my case consider exceptional, and grant a pension in accordance with the latest pension minute No. 12 para: 3.

Now an abolition of office, in addition to the scale of pension, may be mentioned that there are Dispatch No. 201 of 1890 and Secretary of State's dispatch No. 237 of 24 October 1893.

I also beg respectfully to bring to your notice that I have served the Government for 37 years, and discharged my duties to the best of my ability, to the satisfaction of my superior officers including yourself. I trust therefore your Excellency will kindly recommend His Excellency the Governor, Secretary of State, to move the State to grant a pension equal to my long service.

During the whole 37 years of my service, I have not enjoyed long vacation leave, or leave with pay, or burdened the Government with any passage allowance to which I am entitled. I shall be greatly obliged if you will be pleased to forward this, together with my application and testimonials (in conformity with para 16 of Colonial Pension regulations).
