Dear Sirs,
Referring to our interview with your Junior on Friday last, we beg to inform you that we have heard no suggestion from any sources of an additional premium being asked on Cargo in vessels calling at loading or discharging at Hong Kong, in consequence of the erection of Tanks to receive Oil in bulk from Tank Steamers in the vicinity of that Port; nor do we consider that any additional charge could be justified if the tanks are erected at Sam Sia Toh on the Hanlung Peninsula, as we understand has been contemplated.
Yours faithfully,
Nicholls Jayloe & Co.
