I should add that I might probably during my tenure of Police Command, have remained equally ignorant of all this, had I not in the course of my Military duties, then reverted to take our Quarter Masters duties, and investigate the books and stores of a Quarter Master who had been dishonest. A two years' experience of Quarter Masters' work enabled me easily to see what was wrong and irregular.

"I would respectfully suggest that the removal of a Storekeeper from the Establishment might be suspended until I shall have had an opportunity of laying my views personally before His Excellency Sir William Robinson which will be in April next.
