It is satisfactory to be able to state that the expenditure over the Estimate. Certain small sums which the Local Auditor had been outstanding as irrecoverable in previous years have proved irrecoverable.

A sum of $20,005, expended in 1891 to Miscellaneous services have been charged in Accounts.

A complete stocktaking and revaluation of all items has been made.
