A free second class passage out will be provided to each Lightkeeper and in the event of his resignation after three years service free second class passage home will also be given but without
any Salary.

At the expiration of their term of service. the Lightkeepers, provided they have not been discharged for misconduct, will be readmitted to the service of the Corporation and allowed to count such term as time included in the Trinity Howe
vervice.
Should
any of the Lighthupers within the period of three years from the date of embarkation for the Colony, either quit it without leave or relinquish his appointment (except from bodily or mental infirmity not being able to continue to perform his duty, such being certified by the Colonial Surgeon), he will refund the amount which shall have been paid for his passage to the Colony.
Revenue of the Colony. -
Should the Lightheepers wish to remain in the service of the Colony after the expiration of three years they may do so subject to the approval of the Government. In which case their Salaries will be increased to $184C. $ 1080 and $ 1020 per annum respectively, forfeiting the right to return passage and they will become entitled to begin to count time for penvion under the Hong Kong Pension Minute dating their commencement of service from the date of their original embarkation for the Colony.

If their conduct has been satisfactory. completion of Five year's service from the date of embarkation the pay shall be #1260, 4.1.200, and $1.140 per annum respectively.
An abatement at the rate of Four per cent shall be made by the Colonial Treasurer or the Crown Agents as the case may be,
on each
payment of salary or pension from the date of their joming the permanent bivil Service of the Colony.
They will be provided with Medical attendance free If admitted to Government livil Hospital, for treatment, they will have to pay Hospital fees, according to following scale. Drawing salaries under $80 per month.
