With reference to
your
letter of
the 16th instant and to previous cor- respondence, I am directed by His Excellency the Officer Administer- ing the Government to submit, for the consideration of the Trustees, the following terms upon which, eubject to the approval of the Secretary of State for the Colonies, the Government is prepared to hand over the fabric of St. John's Cathedral to the representatives of the seat holders in treest
1. At Church Body to be constituted of adult British subjects professing the faith of the Church of Englund; to be elected by the seatholders. Such Body
