Prosser's agreement with this Government as Assistant Land Surveyor

As the Surveyor General has reported on the necessity of having a Land Surveyor permanently in the

on Mr Prosser's
favourably
qualifications, and as Mr.
Prosser is anxious to know-

as soon as
as possible whether or
not his services will be
further required, I have to recommend to Your Lordship that he be appointed on the permanent staff of the department.
The salary to be drawn by Mr Prosser will continue
to be the same as that
hitherto drawn by him viz. $1800 per annum, and I request Your Lordship's authority to insert that
