As the balance sheet of the Bank is always handed into the Colonial Government in Hongkong immediately. publication, the Colonial Treasurer would at once see if the note circulation ever exceeded $7.500.000 . Further we would again refer to the security the note holders of the Bank have in the event of the Bank's suspension - they would receive payment in full, not ranking
