closed copy of a Despatch from the 0.A.G. of Hong Kong and to inform you that his Lordship approves your compliance with the request therein contained for the
selection of three Lighthouse Keepers
for Gap Rock Lighthouse, on the terms specified in the accompanying Paper of
Particulars.
If you engage men who have been in the Trinity House Service, you will be
good enough to ask the Corporation to agree to allow such men the privilege proposed in the paragraph at the top of page 2 of the Paper of Particulars, provided the Hong Kong Government agres
that case to refund to the Corpora-
tion eventually a proportionate share
of the men's pension for the time in
question.
