$40 per month rising by yearly
increments of $10 per month to $60 with board, uniform, lodging,
and attendance.

Acts or Ordinances making provision respecting any of the above matters, and especially respecting the permanency of the emoluments, and the particulars of the security required, with references to the sections in which such provision is made.
Free passage to the Colony, and at the expiration of the term of service (five years) a return passage to England at the option of the person appointed, or of the Government, on condition of satisfactory service, with the privilege of being retained in the Government service, counting the five years for purposes of leave and pension.
