Two letters from Mr. Judd Eve part, setting forth the terms of the Companies.
The offer of the Companies was submitted to the consideration of the Public Works Committee, who recommended that it should be accepted, which was accordingly done.

The Companies have named a period of from 4 to 6 months within which the cable will be completed.
