If it is decided (as I trust

it will be) under all these

circumstances to give up the old

site and to adopt

the proposed

new hire of works it will only be

necessary to require from the

Colonial Government,

(a) an

agreement to hand over to the War Department or to Keep free from buildings a tract of land bounded on the N. by the frontier line, on the

E.

by a line drawn parallel

thereto, in rear of the line of

redricks, and on the S. and

W by the sea shore.

(b) an

agreement to reserve free from buildings, for purposes of Military exercises but subject to existing rights as to the ranges comprised in it - that portion of the present reserve now occupied by the Military Police and Association ranges; the boundaries of this ground

are shown on the accompanying plan, except to the N. of the

limits
