and Mt Price on the 4th of
April 1886 wrote to the Colonial
Secretary asking that instructions
should be issued to the Land
Office authorizing generally the issue of Kowloon Inland Leaves in
exchange for the
present Kowloon Garden Leases
in accordance with the sanction
of the Secretary of State. He
says:-
These Leases to be issued upon application for them
by the Garden Lot owners
without necessarily having to
apply every time for Government
sanction.
