But as I have said above the Treasurer will bear in mind that the object of the system of drawings at fixed intervals is to avoid large irregular drafts by the Crown Agents, and they will be instructed by telegraph accordingly as necessity arises.

As regards the question of the limit of Government balances in the local banks which Your Lordship has now fixed at $350,000 including the Praya Reclamation Fund as well as ordinary balances and "deposits" I have to point out that the inclusion of the Praya Fund places this Government in a worse position than it was before.
