REPORT BY THE ATTORNEY GENERAL ON ORDINANCE NO 2744
ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE
17th December 1870.
I have examined the accompanying Ordinance, entitled
The Companies (Memorandum of Association) Ordinance 1890.
and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to the
Governor's Instructions.
This Ordinance, which has been passed at the suggestion of the Secretary of State for the
Colonies, introduces into the
legislation of Hong Kong the
provisions
