I have the honour to ack: the receipt of your desp: no. 179 of ult: on the subject of the number of daily attendances required in the schools of the colony and I concur with the Schools Inspector and yourself in thinking that the number should be reduced and authorise you to adopt the Rule which is in force in the Straits Settlements.
