I beg respectfully to submit for your favourable consideration application & copy of testimonials from Mr. Diston, whom I have nominated as a suitable person for the appointment of Assistant Surveyor at Hong Kong.
I presume he will have to pass a medical examination, I would suggest that the Sanitary Officers of this department may be asked to perform that duty as in my case.
