A discussion of a project which is likely to be superseded refers to a scheme which hitherto has been before His Lordship has been largely impaired by the requirements of the Naval authorities, recently formulated, in respect of the tunnel between the Naval Yard and Sea under the contemplated Communication Praya Road.
For the height of between the East and West portions of this tunnel will require a gradient in the road so as to connect the town of Victoria, Hongkong, without any reclamation. From the land in front of the Naval and Military land abutting upon it, the value of property will be seriously depreciated rendering the value of it bevideo itself.
I should mention that the project for carrying out the Dare object which has been drawn for comparatively little ratum for man-drawn vehicles.
