Orders

sums that the letters of advice recently received by the Crown Agents relate, whereas the Money and Postal Orders in respect of which no remittances have reached this Department were issued during the months of January, February and March, as set forth in my previous letter.

As those Orders have been paid by this Department, the revenue is short of a sum of £958.77;

I am to request, therefore, that you will be so good as to move Lord Gough Muntsford to have that amount paid to this Department in the previously suggested manner.

If by inadvertence the sums in question should be subsequently paid a second time by the Crown Agents, there would be no difficulty in refunding them.

Your obedient servant,

M.reeze
