He has not explained how he has calculated his own Salary, nor why he has allowed a Salary of $2640 for a "Chief Clerk", and these figures cannot be accepted by the Comptroller and Auditor General without explanation which Mr. Nicolle has been called upon to give.
As regards the Home Expenditure for this year, it is not expected to exceed £300 greatly.
Until the Comptroller and Auditor General has obtained further information from
