Me Scotch Exchequer is ignorant (1) of the Act 15&16 Vic. c. 39, (2) Treasury Minute of 20 April 1857 interpreting it, (3) which is referred to & confirmed by Treasury minute of 21 May 1866, (4) which was sent out in Circular of 6 June 1866, (5) and was model legislation given Circular of 25 Jan 1867.
In no reply from Hong Kong can be traced, but (6) Order 7 of 1885 provides for disposal of Intestate Estates for which no heirs can be found.
