the new arrangement

audit of

Colonial account
has been placed
under the
superintendence
and management of the Comptroller & Auditor General.
Mr Nicolle,
who is a very experienced
Auditor, is at
present studying
certain accounts
in this colony,
and the date for
his departure from here is not yet fixed. It is however proposed that he should take up the local duties of his
new post at the beginning of April.
