With reference to your letter of the 24th July last, I am directed by the Secretary of State for War to acquaint you, for the information of Lord Knutsford, that, since the receipt of the above quoted letter, a telegram has been sent to the General Officer Commanding at Hong Kong authorizing him to conclude the agreement for the Tytam Water Supply on the terms proposed by the Colonial Government
