conformity with the law of such place; and whereas by Proclamation published in the Hong Kong Government Gazette of 25th January 1890 the said Ordinance was brought into operation; and whereas the said Corporation has applied for the consent of the said Commissioners to the establishment of certain Branches and Agencies of the Corporation at the places hereinafter specified;
Now we, being two of the Commissioners for the time being for executing the Office of Lord High Treasurer, do hereby signify the assent of the said Commissioners to the establishment by the said Corporation of Branches or Agencies at the several places hereunder mentioned in conformity with the Law of such places respectively, viz:
Amoy, Bangkok, Batavia, Borneo, Bangkok, Calcutta, Colombo, Foochow, Hamburg, Hankow, Hong Kong, London, Lyons, Manila, Nagasaki, New York, Peking, Penang, Rangoon, Saigon, Sandakan, San Francisco, Shanghai, Singapore, Sourabaya, Swatow, Vancouver, Iloilo, Yokohama.
Given under our hands at the Treasury Chambers, Hongkong, this 22nd day of September 1890.
