Ludship to inform Jm that this Governor of Hongkong has since requested that during this year, & in future years, until further notice $1,000,000 worth of such coin should be sent out, but instead of equal quarters instalments that it should be sent in five instalments of $200,000 each (instead of 4 instalments of $250,000 each) the several instalments being timed to arrive as nearly as possible on the first day of April, July, October, December and January.
I am to enclose copies of corresp. with the Treasury as noted in the margin, from which you will see that Deputy master of the Mint will be able to supply coin to these amounts, if necessary, when bullion is provided by HK in due time.
