Asked the Board to appoint inform M- Peebles that Lord Knutsford appoints him to the post of Marine Surveyor & expects him to leave for the colony later than the second week in August.
He should report to this Office exact date of his departure & whether or not he has secured an assistant: he will receive half salary from full pay from Colony.
