Experimental section of the work should be constructed with this cement and kept under careful observation for nights, but he adds that he cannot take the responsibility of recommending the immediate and general adoption of the cement, manufactured by Young and Sunnies & Co., for so important a work as the Praya Reclamation. It appears to us, however, that the results of the tests made here and the very large saving in cost which would be effected by using this local cement fully justify the construction of the experimental section which Sir John Jackson has suggested.
