I have the honour to transmit to you, for the information of the Secretary of State, a copy of the Agreement into which we have entered on behalf of the Government of Hongkong with Miss Mary Ellen Ward on her appointment as Headmistress of the Government Girls' School in that Colony.
A passage has been provided for Miss Ward in the steamship London scheduled to leave on the 20th instant.
