I am commanded by Their Lordships Commissioners of the Admiralty to acquaint you, for the information of the Secretary of State for the Colonies, that they have had under their consideration your letter of the 8th August last relative to the contribution from Naval Funds to the Lock Hospital at Hongkong, and they regret they must adhere to the decision communicated in Admiralty Letter of 18th July last, to reduce the contribution from £250 to £100 a year.
