Hospital) should not have been included in the cost of the Institution with a view to the apportionment of the Admiralty contribution. On the other hand, I am unable to concur in the deduction which Dr Lloyd would appear desirous of making, viz.: the rent of the Hospital.
For this is actually paid by the Government, and even when it ceases to be paid on the removal of the Hospital to a new building, it is not to be forgotten that building has cost a sum, the interest of which is fully equal to the rent.
On the whole, however, I agree in the view expressed by Dr Lloyd and adopted by Commodore Lush that the contribution which it is proposed for the Admiralty...
