Having lately by your directions visited the Lock Hospital here to make arrangements as to future inspection of the examinations I consider it my duty to bring to your notice the apparent disproportionate amount of work done in relation to the Allowance of £400 per annum made by Their Lordships in aid of the Hospital, which incidentally came under my observation.
