I submit, be considered as part of the public revenues, but should be utilized for the purchase of other vacant spaces for the recreation of the Chinese, or in such other way for their benefit as may from time to time appear best to the Recreation Ground Committee and the Government. The Registrar General should, I think, submit annually a statement of accounts as is done at present with the District Watchmen fund.

3. In conclusion I venture to hope that the measures which have been taken will prove beneficial both to those frequenting the spot and to the entire neighbourhood, and that the Chinese Recreation Ground will never again be allowed to become the eyesore which it undoubtedly has been up to the present time.
