Copies of report of the Land Commission to which I have above-alluded were forwarded to Your Lordship in General Cameron's despatch No. 265 of 29th July, 1887.
I may inform Your Lordship that pending the time at which this Ordinance may come into operation, I have appointed a small Commission to obtain such information as it is able in regard to the special subject to which it refers.
