1. Any explanation of such large increase of 33 per cent (instead of 20 per cent) being given to the Compradore at this Office. As at present advised I only sanctioned the smaller increase.
8. Registrar General's department. It is sufficient departing from reason for reconsidering the decision given in para. 4. of my despatch Re:RAFT. 556 de 203 of 20 September last, that the Registrar General is entitled to have his salary increased by 35 per cent above $5040 i.e. to $6804. instead of $6000.
9. I consider that, as suggested in par. 11(a) of the despatch under acknowledgment, the First Clerk in this Dept. should
