apply for the post of Assistant – Postmaster General rendered vacant by the promotion of Mr. A.K. Travers.
I joined the service in November 1878, as Clerk to the Puisne
Judge. In September 1883 I was appointed Clerk to the Chief Justice, and have held that office
ever since. On
