the issue of coin by the Canton Mint will have on the demand in China for the Colonial Coins.
I enclose copy of the latest report, from Her Britannic Majesty's Consul at Canton on the operations of the Mint, which Mr Alabaster is closely watching with a view to keeping this Government informed in this regard.
