by the said Secretary of State upon the following

terms and conditions, that is

to say: -

1. The said

Lot No

(hereinafter referred to

as the said Lot) shall be

held by the said Secretary of State as part of the property subject to section II of Ordinance No. 6 of 1860.

2. The said Secretary of State shall have full power, when and so soon as the said Lot shall no

longer be required by him for occupation for Military or War Department purposes, to sell the same by public auction or private contract for the term of 999

years commencing from the day of 18.., at such

price or prices as he

may

deem expedient, subject

nevertheless to a Crown Rent of $H.K. 66

per annum,

payable half-yearly by equal payments on the

24th June and 25th December

in each year, such Crown Rent to commence from the day of

and to be

apportionable accordingly,

and subject also to all

the usual covenants, clauses,

powers, and conditions inserted in Crown Leases

of Lots.

The purchase money

realised on

any

sale or sales shall belong and be paid to the said Secretary of State for Imperial purposes.

Upon the completion of any such sale or sales, the purchaser shall be
