are laid before the family of Mr. Berkeley they will take care that
Mr. Mudie is not allowed to lose
by the generous part he took in
saving their relative from
the disgrace to which he had laid himself open by what I can but
regard as his very
dishonourable conduct.
I ought to add that
owing to a pressure of
business some delay
has occurred in transmitting
this correspondence.
