The terms of appointment have been altered since the last occasion. These changes mean that they should be engaged at the new rate, viz. $400 per annum, with their condition specified in the letter from this Department dated 21st June last, namely that their leave salary will be payable at 4% in this country and pension at 3/8 of a dollar.
