Mr. Maloch's letter of 24th ultimo gave full explanations as regards his professional antecedents as he was elected an Associate of the Institute of Civil Engineers in 1878, but has subsequently ceased to be connected with that body, the Secretary of the Institute would on application give full explanations as regards the qualifications certified to in his election.
