I would add that in order to perform those extra duties, I have to work early and late, including Sundays, and for which extra duty. I received no remunerating which I understand under Chap. 5 and Reg: 104, is customary to be paid to an Officer when performing duties outside his own appointment.
I also beg to point out that my present position as regards emoluments (viz:- $2760 per annum) is some $840 less per annum than it would have been, had I remained at the Treasury, as the salary attached to such office having since been increased to $3600 per annum.
In conclusion I must express my great regret that Your Lordship has been misinformed.
