I caused to be communicated to Mr C. B. Malsch, Assistant Engineer in the Public Works Department the first three paragraphs thereof, which referred to his memorial forwarded in N2150 of [illegible date] in my despatch of the 15th of May.
Mr Malsch has now addressed a further Memorial to Your Lordship on the subject of his past and present position in the service of this Colony, which I enclose herewith, together with a copy of a minute thereon by the Surveyor General.
