A day for the examination and cause due notice thereof to be given ww the Government Gazette or otherwise.
7. The Subjects of Examination for Class A will be, Handwriting, Orthography, Arithmetic, English (composition, calligraphy, indexing or docketing, digesting returns into summaries), English History, Bookkeeping.
For Class B the essentials of the examination will be the following English Language, namely -
(a) Reading including print and manuscript 200
(b) Handwriting, welding quality & rapidity 200 marks 400
(c) Writing from dictation Copying from Manuscript 400
(d) Composition. The subject being chosen with a view to test general intelligence, Punctuation, grammar, Orthography and Idiom will be taken into account. 400.
