the resignation of Mr F Trower, an Overseer recently transferred to that Department from the Public Works Department, and to inform Your Lordship that in accordance with I. Chadwick's suggestion I have authorised the Resident Engineer to appoint a Foreman of Works who will be available for any work on which his services may be required.
Mr Cooper reports that he has selected Mr. O. J. Kjeller at a salary of $60 per mensem, his engagement being terminable at one-month's notice:
