Formerly all departments in this Colony, with the exception of those of the Governor, Colonial Secretary, and Postmaster General, used to send their requisitions for stationery to the Auditor General who incorporated all into one and forwarded it, after approval by the Governor, to the Crown Agents, the stationery being afterwards issued by the Audit office to the various departments.
