I had no time to do anything else. I had each month to examine 16 Departments with 10,000 vouchers. I complained to Sr. Stewart about it.
A. G. Travers, Assistant Postmaster General. Neither I nor Mr. Lister usually saw Mr. Freire auditing the Office. The books were never submitted to me after Mr. Freire had audited them. Mr. Freire never asked for information from me. I do not know whether Mr. Freire audited the books once a month.
