Enclosure 2.
137
Report by the Attorney General, on Ordinance No. 20 of 1890.
13093
ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE,
[REG 13 SEP 30]
19th July 1890.
The present Ordinance therefore repeals sub-section 4 of such Clause raising the amount which may be allowed as compensation to $200.
I have examined the accompanying Ordinance, entitled "An Ordinance to amend The Cattle Diseases, Slaughter Houses, and Markets Ordinance of 1887" and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to the Governor's Instructions.
This is an Ordinance to increase the compensation which may be paid for any animal slaughtered under the provisions of Ordinance No. 17 of 1887.
I have the honour to be,
My Lord,
Your Lordship's Most Obedient Humble Servant,
I. Serning
