Bill was introduced into the

Legislative Council in a

recom sequence of a report

made by the Sanitary

Board.

A few months ago

a disease broke out

among cattle and was successfully done,

the Sanitary Board under the

powers conferred upon it by Ordinance No. 17 of 1887 ordered

certain animals to be destroyed. Compensation for the loss of

these animals was then demanded

and although it was admitted

that some of them were

worth more to their owners

than $50, the Governor in

Council...
