meantime, however, I forward
copy of the correspondence which
has
taken place in connection
with it and, for Your Lordships'
information, copy of the Ordinance
finally
amended
by
the Legislative Council.

Engineer for the Water and
Drainage
Works commenting
upon the several clauses of the
Bill,
as it at present stands,
to which the Military
